A Trip of A Lifetime
I’ve always loved Disney! I was selected as a dynamic teacher candidate out of thousands of candidates to travel worldwide with chief ABC News meteorologist Ginger Zee to every Disney Park in the world! Three continents, four countries, six cities, nine parks, more than 23,000 miles, and all in one week!
Disneyland California, USA 🇺🇸
Disneyland Paris, France 🇫🇷
Tokyo Disney Resort, Japan 🇯🇵
Hong Kong Disneyland, China 🇨🇳
Shanghai Disney Resort, China 🇨🇳
Disney World Orlando, USA 🇺🇸
Ginger Zee and I flew to Anaheim, California where they experienced the classic attractions that started it all!
In California Adventure Park we rode the park’s latest attraction: the Incredicoaster. It’s the park’s fastest ride, and it was my first time on an upside-down roller coaster!
Next up we were whisked to Paris, where the City of Lights was as enchanting as ever! While there Ginger Zee and I explored Sleeping Beauty’s castle, which was inspired by both the fairy tale and a real French castle: Mont Saint Michel. We also checked out the famous Ratatouille ride, where families shrink down to the size of a mouse, and the park’s Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, which is the fastest of all the Space Mountains. With no time to rest on such an adventure, we headed from the park directly to the airport.
The next stop for us was Tokyo, Japan Disneyland for an adventure in one of the most unique Disney Parks in the world! Ginger and I visited the park Seven Ports, taking in iconic and unique attractions in each such as the park trolley very similar to downtown NY.
We also sampled some of the popcorn the Park has become famous for. The treat is “so popular here the lines can stretch city blocks, ” according to Zee, and featured a rotating list of 25 different popcorn.
Hong Kong
Ginger & I had only a few hours to see all the sights before the Park closed in Hong Kong, China. We decided to split up to experience as much as possible. While I hit up the Grizzly Gulch ride and the We Love Mickey Celebration, Ginger Zee met up with some of Hong Kong Disneyland’s original characters, Cookie and Duffy, and checked out the Iron Man Experience! We both enjoyed the character Dim Sum fit for the event!
Finally, our trip’s grand finale was the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida to attend in the world in celebration of Mickey’s 90th birthday! The surprise didn’t end there though! My husband D’Juan met me at Walt Disney World with packed bags- we headed to a Disney Cruise courtesy of GMA!
What an unbelievable opportunity to embark on a trip around the world with none other than the amazing Ginger Zee and the Good Morning America team. And let me tell you, it was an experience of a lifetime!
We were on a mission to celebrate Mickey's 90th Birthday Celebration in the most magical way possible, and boy, did we deliver! From exploring the vibrant streets of California to soaking in the breathtaking sights of Paris, every moment was filled with joy, wonder, and pure Disney magic.
I am beyond grateful to have been a part of this incredible journey, and I can't thank Ginger Zee and the entire GMA family enough for welcoming me with open arms. It's moments like these that remind me how truly fortunate I am to be able to share these adventures with all of you.
So here's to Mickey, to unforgettable experiences, and to the incredible power of spreading joy wherever we go. Thank you all for joining me on this magical ride, and I can't wait to share even more adventures with you in the future!
